Terms of use

This is a website of a community project. It has no accounts, no payments and no subscriptions, so these terms are short.

Using the site

You may read, quote and link to anything published here. Quoting is welcome; attribution with a link is the only thing we ask.

Talks, recordings and photographs belong to the people who made them. If you want to reuse a recording or a photograph beyond quoting, ask the speaker or ask us and we will put you in touch.

Please do not attempt to break the site, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it aggressively. If you are doing security research, see the section below—we would much rather hear from you than block you.

What we promise

We try to keep the site available and the information on it correct. Meetup details—dates, venues, programmes—can change, and when they do the page changes with them. A cancelled meetup keeps its page, marked as cancelled, so that links to it keep working.

We do not promise that the site is available at every moment, that a scheduled meetup will happen exactly as announced, or that everything said in a talk is correct. Talks are the opinions of the people giving them, not statements of the club.

Links out

Links to YouTube, maps and other sites are there because they are useful. What happens on those sites is governed by their rules, not ours.

Reporting a security problem

If you find a vulnerability, write to us before publishing it, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. The contact address is in /.well-known/security.txt. We will not threaten anyone who reports a problem in good faith.

Changes

These terms change when the project changes—when accounts appear, or tickets, or anything involving money. The date at the top says when this version was written, and every earlier version is in the repository.
